Learning Outside the Classroom
At Clarendon Junior School we value our learning environment as well as ensure that there are plenty of enrichment activities to support learning.
Throughout the year every child has the chance to take part in a range of visits linked to their 'Take One' themes both locally and further afield.
Some of the recent visits we have organised:
- Warner Brother Studios Tour
- Cadbury World
- Oxenwood Outdoor Centre
- Highclere Castle
- Longleat
- New Forest Wildlife Centre
- Stonehenge
- We The Curious
- Legoland
In school, we are always welcoming a range of visitors to support our learning:
- Dance Workshops
- Science Dome
- Paul Sturgess - Basketball
- Egyptology
On site we are very fortunate to have our own Outdoor Learning Classroom. Our Outdoor Learning Lead, Mr Ward, works with every class each term to share new skills outdoors.
